“So you're actually doing it.” Lucius Malfoy, perfectly groomed as always, picked up Severus' curriculum vitae and surveyed it with narrowed eyes. “I hadn't known you were serious about leaving that wretched place.”
Severus reclaimed the CV with a barely restrained sneer. “May I remind you that you are in a position to improve matters? Or have you decided to resign from the Board of Governors?”
It was Lucius' turn to sneer. “I inherited my seat on the Board, as you well know, and will pass it along to my son in due time.”
“Of course,” said Severus.
