“Professor Snape? Mr. Lupin?” A docent, young and buxom, hesitantly emerged from a sally port. “Is everything all right?”
“Couldn't be better,” said Remus after a pause. “Is something wrong?”
“Oh, heavens, no! It's just that the students are almost done with their tour.”
Severus straightened. “Tell them we'll meet them at the exit. The other chaperones should suffice until then.”
“Of course, I'll see to it,” she said, and ducked back into the castle.
Remus waited for the door to close to draw Severus close. “Next time Minerva can take them herself.”
Severus nodded. “Yes.”
