Polyjuice was vile, especially with a leftover hair from Toby Snape mixed in, but that and a porter's uniform were enough to get Severus on the train. No one at King's Cross gave him a second glance, and by Bellatrix Lestrange and her minions showed up near Peebles, he'd dropped enough warnings that the train staff was armed, on alert, and more than ready to fight back.
There were casualties, of course – the Cauldron Cakes locker would never be the same – but most of the students had no idea anything was amiss. Albus was very pleased.
