“We need guards for the children,” said Albus. His good hand shook as he reached for yet another carefully measured dose of medication. “Tom Riddle is planning an attack on the train.”
Severus waited for him to drink before casting a diagnostic spell to check for further deterioration. “I can't risk being recognized. It's bad enough that I continue to teach here. The Dark Lord suspects everyone of colluding against him.”
“Polyjuice?” said Albus. The trembling had stopped, at least for now. “That would work long enough for you to supervise the boarding.”
“Perhaps.” Severus considered. “Perhaps.”
