They had finished their food when a tiny, all but transparent otter appeared with the news that the Weasley/Granger/Potter clan had run into several friends/in-laws/casual acquaintances on a mystery tour and would be delayed. Potter sighed, sent back a message wishing his wife et al. well, and ordered another pint.
“Here.” Severus handed him a dose of Sober-Up, then tossed back a vial of his own. “I've no desired to be Bat-Bogeyed by your wife if you come back drunk.”
“Huh.” Potter shook his head. “I can see why Lucius chose you for Draco's godfather. Thanks.”
“Excuse me?”
