“Do you still own your old house?” Potter said after they'd given up on the pretzels and ordered lunch. “Where was it, Yorkshire?”
“Halifax, and yes. I rent it to a Muggle couple who find the coal scuttle and the outdoor toilet quaint for some ungodly reason.” Severus finished his peas, which were properly mushy for once. “They've no idea how long it took me to root out Wormtail's booby traps.”
Potter shuddered. “I probably shouldn't ask.”
“Unless you want details on his collection of obscene photographs, don't,” said Severus. “I nearly had to hire an exorcist.”
