“It's charmed in some way, sir.” Young Mr. Snape looked thoughtfully at the folded parchment. “It feels like more than one person enchanted it, probably Black's friends, Potter and Lupin and Pettigrew all working together.”
“But what does it do?” replied Argus Filch. “Is it so they can cheat on exams? Pictures of girls who are no better than they should be? Dark magic?”
“It's not dark, not really, although there's a bit of Darkness clinging to it. I've no idea why.” Mr. Snape frowned. “I'll need more time.”
“Take what you need,” said Mr. Filch.
