Lily’s eyes in James Potter’s face, how could this even happen? The child hadn’t looked so much like his father all those years ago, more like Lily’s father with his dark hair and easy grace. But he had grown to resemble James Potter, Sirius Black’s boon companion, and Severus had nearly snapped his fork in half when he’d seen him at dinner last night.
Now he sits before the Mirror and stares at an image of Harry Potter with Lily’s eyes and his own face, the Prince height, the Snape nose.
