It's set after the fourth book, which ended with a magical cataclysm called the Burning Days…and for those who haven't read them, "Esoteric Arts" is the formalized use and study of sex magic. J

I am sending you this via electronic mail transmission care of Miss Granger, who seems to be settling in nicely as the Muggle Studies professor. Please tell her that I have some fascinating information about American Muggles, at least the ones who frequent Harvard Square.
Veritas is fascinating, if somewhat unsettling; I have made friends -
