"I took thirty from Gryffindor and ten from Ravenclaw," said Severus. He smiled thinly at the memory of Granger actually attempting to defend Zabini, whom she normally couldn't stand. "It's part of your cover, Mr. Zabini. Do not forget this."
The boy ducked his head in agreement. "Thank you for the reminder, sir. Sometimes it's hard to remember - "
"That this isn't the usual House politicking? Do not ever forget this, Mr. Zabini." Severus leaned back against his desk. "Your report, please."
