Severus looked up from grading. Thanks to a crisis in the Slytherin Common Room he'd fallen behind, and now was racing to finish before an Order meeting in London.
"Yes, Mr. Zabini?"
The boy took a seat without being invited, elegant hands folded on his elegantly cut trousers. "Sir - " He hesitated.
"Well?" Severus curled his lip slightly. "What is it? Girl trouble? Mother trouble? House trouble?"
For once Zabini did not rely on birth and breeding. "One could say that it's a bit of all three. Malfoy - "
Severus set down his pen. "Tell me more."
