"What were you expecting, sex toys?" Severus delicately levitated the Walther PPK out of the drawer and set it on his blotter. "It was an American, of course. Claimed his grandfather gave it to him for 'personal protection'."
"His grandfather?" Remus had taught in America for a few years and known several hunters, but this? "Please tell me it wasn't loaded."
"That would be a lie, I'm afraid." Severus shook his head. "Mr. Case was most distressed - "
An elf popped into the room. "Professor Snape, sir? A Muggle is arriving to see you!"
"A Muggle?" Severus stared. "Here?"
