"You're certain of this?" Severus watched as Lupin checked the name on the door of the shabby little flat.

"She's not a bad writer. Did you know she worked for the Wizarding paper in Calais after the War?" said Lupin. "And he was thick with Malfoy, even though - "

" - he himself is the definition of 'thick.'" Severus knocked on the door.

It opened a few seconds later. They got a glimpse of Gregory Goyle's white, terrified face before the door slammed shut.

Lupin stared. Severus drew his wand. "'The guilty flee where no man pursueth,' it seems."
