"Two dozen of each," corrected Severus. The castle elves had taken charge of the anonymous delivery, and now a very large room near the dungeons echoed with yowls, mews, howls, barks, and snarls from both species. "What I'm supposed to do with them is still unknown. Perhaps laboratory experiments?"
"I doubt it. You have rats for that, or did according to this year's budget." Minerva hesitated, then transformed into a cat and trotted up to a large buffed colored tom.
Severus frowned as they sniffed and mewed. Was she gathering information or flirting?
