Challenge: Severus and his mother

"It's - it's for a play!" Severus cried. The Hogwarts Buskineers had put on A Midsummer Night's Dream so it even made sense. Of course Severus hadn't been in the play, but -
"What about this?" Mum held up the tight, sparkly shirt Regulus had pinched from his brother's wardrobe. "If that's from a play I'll eat it!"
"Mum - "
"What is wrong with you? Are you a poof?"
"Mum! No! It's just for a concert Reg and I have tickets - "
"Where did I go wrong?" she wailed, and flopped onto the sofa, bawling into her hands.
