Phil scowled at his cousin. "You live in Halifax. Why are you bringing him here?"
"That's my business, not yours." Toby slapped down a fiver. "You going to cut or not?"
Phil stared at the note, then nodded. "Go t'pub. I won't have you hovering."
He waited for Toby to leave, then turned to his son. "What's your name?"
"Severus." The boy squared his shoulders. "I like long hair."
"Nothing wrong with that." Phil considered. "Let's see what I can do."
