Sanguini made a little moue of distaste at Severus' selection of dip. He glared at the buffet, then finally selected a bacon-wrapped scallop and popped it into his mouth. "Too chewy. Your elves should be ashamed."
"Really?" Snape followed suit and chewed thoughtfully. "These taste fine to me. I suggest you take this up with Professor McGonagall. I believe she supervises the kitchen staff."
"I'll do that," snapped Sanguini. He seized a glass of dark red liquor from a tray and downed it in a gulp. "Ah! At least the drinks are good."
Severus winced. How lovely. A drunk vampire.
