(Remember: drabble posts now appear on livejournal and insanejournal)
Challenge #198: Snape and the First Paragraph. Severus Snape as a book author? Stranger things have happened! This week's challenge is to write the first 100 words of a book written by Snape. It could be a book he wanted to write in his youth, but never finished, a book he vaguely considered writing, or a book he actually did write as an adult (including after the events of Deathly Hallows if you can find a way to make that work). Text book, True Crime, even a Romance Novel: the choice is yours!
Note: Spoiler warnings for DH are no longer mandatory (as of September 1), but you may wish to continue to put spoilery information under cut tags to retain the element of surprise. As always, NC-17 rated and potentially squicky material must continue to be placed under cuts.
