MOD: About activity checks, and the blast

ACTIVITY CHECKS

It has come to the mods' attention that we frequently have many people on the warning list. This needs to change. We're open to suggestions on what to do with activity checks, but more specifically, we will be changing how we check for activity in the coming month. Please consider what sort of changes you would like to see, and comment to this post. This is a good opportunity to have your considerations met, though we will be careful to meet the majority's expectations while allowing minor exceptions to have a well-rounded and fair play.

What you've suggested so far:
- one or two community activities a month
- monthly contests and competitions
- monthly post secrets
- activity post to have muses/muns list what they've done for the month
- initiating blast chats
- bringing more interaction between muses/trainees
- using group activity checks
- ooc community (for profiles and hiatuses/drops)
- adding one or two more mods to the moderating team


COMMUNITY BLAST

If you did not receive a blast invite, or for any reason are not in the blast list, comment here with your SN(s), and we will resend the invite. The blast is mandatory as we will be using this as the community's buddy list. There is also a blast chat, which is strictly IC. Any OOC has to be bracketed, and be done sparingly. To turn it off, simply type in the chat !off. !on to turn it back on. Signing off and on AIM will not change the last command you made, so if you leave it off, you will sign on with the blast off. More blast chat commands can be brought up by typing in !help.

We will also accept questions here. Any unrelated questions can be directed here.
