Now, I'm relatively new in HP fandom (slashin' Potter since 12-05, baby!!), but I've been around long enough to get the feeling that most people HATE songfics (if I read another fic with Draco singing at the 7th-year graduation Yule Ball ceremony thing I'll puke shards of dull knives!!!).

So, try not to consider this an actual song-fic challenge, because you don't necessarily have to quote the lyrics of the song. But I do challenge you to take the basic jist or plot of some song and turn it into the plot of your drabble.

So, for example, if your song is "The Devil Went Down to Georgia", then you can take elements of that fic and say, have Voldemort finding Mundungus, who sold his locket to someone in America over eBay and he's gone to go get it and ends up getting in some ridiculous duel with some American wizard or something... Silly, I know (I couldn't think of anything else).

So, be creative with it! Have fun! It can be any pairing that is Gryffindor/Slytherin, but H/D would be most nicely appreciated. :)
