I was just cleaning out my journal and came across a few old lines that I would love to revive:
1) An urban fantasy/ adventure/ drama line about childhood friends. Both are very ambitious mages, but one reached too far and the other almost died/ got cursed and lost most of his memories. Now, my mage has to save his friend and to help him regain his memories, so that they can get their coven back. This used to be a super angsty line, but I'm more inclined to go a happier route for the sake of story. We can write flashbacks to figure out their history together! My character's PB is Michael Fassbender, and I sort of like the idea of the other character's PB to be James McAvoy, but I'm flexible as long as they look about the same age.
2) This is a bit of a strange request for me, because I don't usually write slice of life. I have a Jamie Dornan PB who is a hunter (of supernatural creatures) but he also wants to have a nice, normal life. To that end, he hides his job and the like from the man he's dating, trying to play normal for the sake of his sanity. Eventually, however, the fact that he's a hunter will collide with his "real" life, and I'd like to explore how the other character would react to that when it happens. The other character can be vanilla human, or he could be something else, maybe have dormant abilities (whatever they may be), etc. Bonus points of the man he's "dating" doesn't really do anything but accepts the free drinks my character offers, and all the lies he gives for the random new injuries he accumulates every week, so my character can have the illusion that he's leading a somewhat normal life with some semblance of a social life, but not have to actually commit. The PB doesn't really matter to me here, but I'm not really interested in age gaps.
Also interested in lines involving androids developing an identity/ a personality/ emotions.
