would anyone be interested in a long-term faux-celeb psl? details under the cut! also, i'm open to playing either a or b in the line.
a is a hollywood scandal just waiting to happen. he's gay and although his friends and family have known for years, his "people" are trying to keep him in the closet for as long as they can. he has a fairly successful career, but the majority of his projects have been playing romantic leads in both dramas and romantic comedies. he's adorable and little girls all the way up to older ladies love him and his movies. the last thing a wants to do, though, is hide who he is. he stopped doing that years ago in private. he wants to come out, but his manager, agent, and publicist have all either said no or given him a vague answer about a little longer and coming back to the issue in the future. he's fed up with them and has been recklessly hooking up with guys left and right. he hasn't been caught yet, but it's just a matter of time before he really misses up and is outed.
b is a rising star within the industry after starring in last winter's biggest oscar hit. he didn't win an oscar himself, but he got a best actor nod and finally has his name and face out there. this was a big deal for a guy who'd only done some indies and critically panned mainstream flicks in the past. for b, things can only get better from here just as long as he manages to hide his sexuality from the public. everyone keeps telling him that his career will be ruined if anyone finds out, so he has taken to avoiding any and all dating for a while for fear of completely messing up his one big chance at success.
a and b first meet when they are cast in a project together. the two hit it off instantly, but what happens when their on-set chemistry starts to turn into something more? can they get through the fact that a wants to be out and b just wants to hide in his closet as long as he can? and how does the prying eyes of the public affect them even further?
