After backing Girl by Moonlight and reading the preview pdf I feel really inspired by the idea of the magical girl genre as a metaphor for queer identity. Would love to explore a team of magical folks (gpsl or a psl where we flesh out the team) as they struggle to balance mundane life, their superhero obligations, who they have to be to society, and their truest selves. Maybe something that strikes a balance between Sailor Moon and Madoka Magica as media touchstones? Secret identities, magical obligations, hidden pasts, transformation sequences, fighting monsters, and falling in love.
