just a little ooc note to get us started [12 Feb 2013|06:30pm] eleanor hey, everyone! welcome to skee. i know that we were a little vague about just how awesome this is going to be, but i think you're about to find out for yourselves. if you haven't already found yourself a partner for you and your character, you might want to do that! and if you don't know who to partner with, just let me know and i'll get you teamed up with someone who's in the same position. you don't have to come up with a witty team name for yourselves like dogskee style, but it's definitely recommended. let me break down how this is going to work, though. if you've ever been in another community where they've had a buddy system, that's what skee is going to be to locals. what's the difference, you ask? well, points. you and your partner want to get the most points at the end of the week or month or year or whatever! miles and i will be issuing several little challenges every week, most of which will involve getting to know someone else in skee or even someone completely random on the friends page -- some of them may even be as simple as posting in jukebox or mishmash! at the end of each challenge, you and your partner's points will be combined for an overall score. it's definitely a team effort! because if your partner is slacking, your score is going to suffer. cue the sad trombone. so, while your character may be getting drunk and playing skeeball every saturday night, we want skee to be an activity that helps promote activity and interaction within the entire community. i'm currently working on a little directory page so that we'll be able to keep track of all of the points that you're earning. in the meantime, we're going to issue your very first challenge! if you have any questions, let me know and i'll try to come up with an answer for you asap. 2 COMMENT
