Alas, I lack a cool header image for this one--clearly figliaperduta, this week's discussion-starter, is not quite as awesome as my partners-in-mischief. So I will clearly have to make up for in substance what I lack in flash.

This week, we turn our minds to a subject that has had quite some attention in fanon, but has been very largely ignored in canon--the relationship between Sirius, Orion (his father), and Arcturus (his grandfather), and the status of the Blacks in society.

We're finally in the home stretch with regard to prompting and I'm happy to say we suffer from an embarrassment of riches. There are so many prompts of so much variation (yes, there's even a sword swallower option.), many which are very open ended, that authors and artists should have no problem with finding something that makes a rabid plot bunny start chewing on their cranium.

 Nevertheless, we still have a couple of days left, so feel free to add to our treasure trove of prompts if you have something you'd love to see someone possibly tackle or that you, yourself would like to write/draw.

Each Monday oops, Tuesday now (sorry!) we will feature a discussion of the different facets of Sirius Black's character, his relationships, and other aspects of his life and ask everyone to share their own personal head-canon interpretations of things. This week's discussion:

Sirius & Regulus

We've now got well over 100 prompts, but there's always room for more. We're taking prompts here up until the 28th, so if you have any Sirius-centric ideas rattling around come drop 'em off.

  And a quick clarification on prompts; in the prompt round ups we've been categorizing prompts that do not name a specific pairing as gen for ease of being able to put them in a category for the preview posts. A member expressed concern that those prompts would end up being restricted to G to PG-13 rating and that's not the case.

If a prompt is marked "any rating", then the rating can go as high as the claimant wants. This will be laid out clearly on the prompt claiming post. We will also come up with a category for the "any rating, any pairing, anything goes" type of prompt as different from those that are gen in the sense of "no ships".
