Intro parties abound
Hiya, my name's Chris and I'll be playing Amy Pond, from Doctor Who seasons 5 and (currently airing) 6. Like many people here, my job requires me to sit at a computer all day, so I can usually be reached at email ccgentes@gmail.com or AIM ccgentes.

First things first, I've never done this before. The one time I tried online rp it was in an entirely different format, and all OCs. So please be patient with me, and feel free to call me out on any rookie mistakes.

As for Amy, she's a recent arrival in 1964, but being in a new place and time isn't that big a deal for her, because pretty much all she does is travel through time and space. She isn't used to being stranded somewhere, though, so that'll shake her a bit. It seems like she's one of the few characters without any special powers, or who doesn't put on a mask and save/kill people. She loves adventure, though, and has seen plenty of it. Her suspension of disbelief can go pretty far if pushed.

If I were to describe Amy in Dungeons & Dragons terms, she's chaotic good. Heavy on the chaotic. She's flirtatious, but she is also a newlywed, so being separated from her husband and surrounded by all these good-looking powerful men could be hard/confusing/interesting for her.

Don't know what she might try to find for work, but someone mentioned wanting a bunny at the Playboy club, and Amy does have experience working as a singing kissogram... If that happens, it could make Amy's interactions with Bill interesting, because the only vampires Amy's seen before were fish-like aliens.

Since I'm so new, I'm up for other people suggesting ideas or plots to try. I have Amy's entrance into 1964 NY pretty much figured out, but there's room for a tall dark stranger for her to run into when she dashes out of the rain, scared and confused.
