Gwen Cooper was dressed for the heat in a brightly colored, short-sleeved sundress and a matching hat. She'd brought a light sweater just in case; her hormones drove her nuts sometimes making her cold when she shouldn't be and other times kicking up the heat. Today, thankfully, she was no hotter than the people around her.
She had sat close to the track during the race, watching on pins and needles as Jack did what he did best - "driving" like a mad man and trying to be the best. With Jack's immortality, she wasn't worried about what would happen to him, so much as she was worried about what might happen if the idiot happened to die during the race and regenerated. The plan had been to lay low, stay off the radar, blend in; and yet, Jack and Ianto were doing the opposite. It was frustrating to be the only one reigning herself in for once. Correction, it was maddening.
Once the race was over and Jack was alive, Gwen couldn't help but grumble to herself about his stupidity. As others began to mill around, Gwen stayed rooted in her place, waiting for Jack and Ianto (if he could leave his boss) to come find her. She was far too pregnant to be expected to wander through a crowd, even if she was trying to meet her pretend husband; Jack could definitely come to her.
