That was pretty fun!

Not that Cloud would say he was into racing (he had rather fond memories of racing, though) but after owning a road devil like the Fenrir, it would be difficult to take the need for speed away from him so easily. In fact, sometimes, he felt more confined and suffocated than he ought to given the Fenrir's current predicament of being a little too out of style for the environment but things were at least working on her end.

He'd meant to devote this day entirely to getting her upright, actually, but one can only work with foreign machinery too long before a wall came up and smacked them right at the head. So he came down the Fair right before the entire thing happened and Cloud was glad he decided to do it.

And of course, he rooted for Rex Racer who was the one who told him about the event, anyway. Funny how he seems to have let his name control his career. Coming down from the high benches, he thought he might try to look for the man, talk to him a bit and then beat it. Maybe inspiration would touch him by then.
