Cameron put her Allison smile on when another fan walked up to her after she had signed another autograph. Automatically, she ran a passive scan and began comparing him to images stored on file. Almost at once she got a high-probability hit on the Batman person she had met not long ago. When he spoke, a voiceprint match ran that probability close to unity.

"It was good enough," she replied. "Just not the sort of course my car excells on."

Cameron wasn't sure what the protocal was, if she should acknowledge she recognized the man. There had been stories in the newspaper about costumed heros and secret identities. It was all very confusing; not the sort of social situation she had ever been programmed for. And her Allison emotions were telling her she was pleased this man had made the effort to seek her out again.

She held out her hand, "Allison Young. Would you like an autograph or to have a picture taken with me?"
