Cinderella ([info]outofthecinders) wrote in [info]silverage,
All things considered, Cindy was having a good day. Sure, she was still to be stranded in the 60's - and not even the ones she remembered. In the past few days since her arrival she had taken her to explore the city, looking for familiar places. If there was a Fabletown here it was not where she could find it, but at least the stores were as fantastic as she remembered them. Cindy liked to think of herself as a "Glass Half Full" kind of gal. Not to mention she was a survivor - scratch that, a survivor trained by the Big Bad Wolf himself. Whatever was happening, she was going to make it.

Of course, to make it she needed a few things, such as money, a better place to stay and more clothes. Oh, and some weapons would have been nice but that could wait. She had just picked a newspaper on her way to her temporary quarters when she decided to take a detour and indulge in some window shopping. As she stopped to examine a loveluy pair of shoes, she couldn't help the feeling of being watched. She wasn't worried about it - several lifetiems as Fabletown's best segret agent had given a healthy dose of paranoia - but she remained alert even as she moved closer to the window.
