"Their arrival, along with the dozens of others. Why aren't you paranoid about Sirius' arrival and all the news that came with him? Why buy that, but question Ginny and Albus?" She assumed it was because Sirius was a known factor in their lives, whereas Ginny and Albus weren't. But they were her family. One just had to look at Al's eyes to know he was related to Lily somehow.
"Everything is uncertain, Remus. I trust them. Whether or not you do is entirely up to you, obviously, but for what it's worth, I think you're being ridiculously paranoid. Why would they have any reason at all to lie about who they were, upon arriving?" She regarded him evenly for a moment before she exhaled and looked away.
"Ginny's been living with us for weeks," she pointed out. "I think if she was as malicious or nefarious as you seem to think she is, there would have been some sign of it before now." Well, perhaps malice was a stronger assumption than necessary, but honestly the paranoia was ridiculous. Yes, she understood a certain need for caution, but she also liked to think she could read people well enough.
