"Ginny is only a part of this," Remus said calmly as he set his menu down and faced his friend. He wasn't surprised that Lily had caught on so quick, he wasn't trying to hide the state of his acquaintance with Ginny Potter, after all. He was civil with her, sure, and he talked to her when it was asked of him or when it was proper to do so -- but he was only barely warm to her.
"How are you feeling right now, Lily?" he asked...almost out of the blue. "Now that you know where this conversation is about to lead to..."
