Joshua giggled as he stroked his hair off his face, again, and slipped both his hands in his pockets. "Am I that obvious?" He had no doubt that he was.
But it wasn't like Joshua was hiding it, and he was right in assuming that he didn't need to. In fact, the moment he ported into this old version of New York City, he knew that something was different. He didn't even have to look at the vintage fashion or the color of the signages that surrounded him, the frequency of the place was all he needed. It was...slightly bit higher than what a normal city should have but not too high for normal people to start seeing things they oughtn't be seeing...yet.
Joshua had been in far too many similar atmospheres before, and when he tried to port back to his own universe, he was not surprised to find out that something was keeping him in. What news. But that was when he decided that it wasn't everyday that he made it all the way to 1964 in one piece so why not have fun while he was there?
"I take it from the way you phrased your question," Joshua began as he slipped his phone out of his pocket again, by habit, "this has been happening for far too many times, already, popping in out of nowhere and all..." He keyed in a few digits before he paused for a moment and gestured to the man with his phone, asking him, "Are you dead?"
