He shook his head to her question. "Nope. I have a place in the city. Closer to where I'm working." There was a slight grimace around his mouth at the reminder of his job, but it wasn't like his usual method of working for a while and drifting was going to work here. Beggars couldn't be choosers, and he'd take what he could get. So he was working in a nice, normal job.
At least it was outdoors and he was using his hands. He'd probably go crazy if he tried his hand at a desk job.
He gestured slightly toward her hair. "Changed your hair," he commented.
