Zack spotted the candies a second before the woman did, and crouched down to help her retrieve them, offering a friendly smile as he picked one up and held it out. "It's okay," he assured her. "We all have our off days, yeah?"
He wondered why she was walking around with candy in her purse, since his first impression of her wasn't of someone given to a sweet tooth, but then again, first impressions could be wrong. Zack's certainly were some of the time. He wanted to think the best of people, and that could occasionally lead to misreading the situation. He didn't think there would be too much trouble of that kind here, though. It wasn't as though the city were run by a giant, evil power company like Midgar back home.
"Is that all of them?" he asked, glancing around to see if he could spot any other wayward treats.
