Sirius had been stuck in New York for almost a month now and he was less than impressed. It certainly had its pluses, but for the most part he felt stuck in limbo. However, it wasn't as if his life was in the best shape where it had left off and so he went back and forth constantly over whether or not he wanted to be stuck here. Which led to the extremely frustrating fact that what he wanted didn't matter in the least because he couldn't figure out how to get out of this place anyway.
It was something of a whim that brought him to the Arcana Cabana, but he thought if it turned out to be interesting, he might enlist Remus' help to decorate Lily's room for Halloween. He was somewhat skeptical about there being 'real magical objects' but gag gifts and decorations were enough to strike his fancy and would probably suit his needs so here he was.
After letting himself in, he stopped near the doorway and looked around in bewilderment. It looked a bit like someone had just filled the entire place with junk and called it a day, but at the same time, it had a certain Diagon Alley feel to it.
"Hullo," he called with a hint of amusement in his voice when he didn't immediately see anyone else. "Anyone here? Buried under something, perhaps?"
