"There should have been another step." Albus took the offered hand his attention completely wrapped with his surroundings and not the polite young woman helping him stand. Albus was a tall man. He stood a lofty and slender six feet and two inches tall on bare feet. It had been a gift his mother had given him from the Weasley side of the family. Albus took after his uncles Bill and Ron.
Lily would probably notice fairly quick that Albus was dressed like a wizard. He wore well tailored black robes over a black waist coat complete with a silver chain that led to a pocket watch, a crisp white dress shirt, rich green tie, and black slacks. Albus dusted himself off and bothered to look at the woman that had helped him. His brows furrowed and he looked at Lily confused.
The face of Lily Evans Potter was not unknown to any of the Potter children. Albus knew this was his grandmother but that was impossible. It also should have been impossible for him to end up in what looked like New York without him apparating. Albus pulled his glasses down from in his hair to rest on his nose so he could get a better look. "This isn't London and there is no way I am standing in front of my grandmother."
