It took a pause for Aaron to answer, and even then, it was a very unsure, "crude oil?"
No one had asked him the component of gasoline before – they just... got it that way. Sure he could fix cars and was probably one of the better mechanics at the station (for his age), but that wasn't the same as knowing what went into petroleum to make gasoline. That was science. He looked for help. "Any ideas, Rex?"
Rex was no scientist either. He only knew because in his time, he's had to handle more sophisticated vehicles, and it helped to go the extra mile. "Distilled crude oil enhanced with toluene and benzene. If you want to get any more specific than that I'm gonna have to make a trip to the library."
