As true as it might have been, it wasn't anything she really wanted to hear. If it was done on purpose, it meant someone was screwing around with their lives, and she hated the idea of that more than she hated the idea of this being an accident.
Because it led her to ask why. Why them, why now, why here, why why why, and she hated unanswered questions.
"Well, I hope whoever did it gets bored and sends us back," she muttered. She wondered if it was possible that the person -- or being or whatever -- would get bored and forget to send them back before abandoning this game, or whatever it was.
