Jaime Elizabeth Davies ([info]finder) wrote in [info]silverage,
“Oh, geeze. Now there’s a ritual? Is there a special shirt buttoning ritual too?” She prompted with a grin. She had to grin at how completely and utterly absurd they were being, but she chalked it up to the newness of it all. Soon enough they’d be settled in and comfortable with each other’s presences, and then move on to sniping about who’d put the nearly-empty juice carton back in the fridge.

She laughed aloud when he said he wasn’t going to give her a list. “Fine, fine. It’s your funeral,” she pointed out. “Or … you know. Your ears that have to put up with my bursts of spontaneous laughter when you mention something utterly mundane.

“Just for kicks, you should thrown in an occasional ‘I’m going to go raise a demon’ or something so I don’t think you’re just some normal guy who dresses weird,” she teased. Not that she really thought he raised demons, and boy did she ever hope he didn’t, but it was the first thing that had come to mind.

Shaking her head, Jaime made a ‘shoo’ gesture to him. If she kept him here much longer, she’d just wind up laughing herself sick and her bag would never get unpacked and her room would never get personalized.
