"Thank you." Jadis smiled, one with teeth even! Her rare smiles were far and few in between, she couldn't seem to help it when her art was complimented. It was all quite stunning, after all. "I admit, of 'office' is really just my sculpting room so please excuse the mess when we get there," she said with a slight cant of her head toward the hallway. Her heels clicked on marble floors as they walked. "Most of the art is marble, limestone, or alabaster. Granite is for advanced carvers - since you need a lot of luck for it, and tons of patience and sweat." Or a handy magic wand! "But I have a few pieces in granite as well, and some I'm working on."
"So when and where are you from?" Jadis inquired. "I know we've been experiencing quite a bit of diversity lately in terms of newcomers."
