Ginny had been invited out, of course, but she just wasn't in a place where she thought she'd enjoy dancing. Or drinking. Had she been younger, or maybe if she'd been here longer, or unmarried, or without children, or not so worried ... or a million other things, she might have gone.
As it was, she was content enough to stay home, to enjoy a quiet evening in. She'd occupied herself with the paper for a bit, still hoping to strike it lucky and find the job she was qualified for, and still having no luck.
Maybe she'd give the bulletin board a shot. There was one down in the office area of the apartment complex, and she figured she'd write a quick note to try to sell herself. Maybe some of the other abductees would have some advice or leads or ... something.
Wandering into the common area, she hesitated a little when she saw Remus was there. It was still so odd seeing him this young. Sirius, too. She'd known he'd opted to stay home, but for some reason she hadn't actually expected to see him tonight. "Hullo," she greeted him quietly. "Feeling any better?"
