"Ah," Simon said when she mentioned the boards. New New York did sound familiar to him, so he nodded slightly in response to that. "I recall ..." he began before deciding that was enough of a confirmation without elaborating on what he recalled of their conversation.
"So this ... time traveling," he said. "It's common? To you, I mean?" Clearly it was if she wasn't at all bothered by the time aspect of it. Simon was bothered by the entirety of the misadventure, but it wasn't as though he could do anything about it. Not yet. Maybe some day.
"That's how you got here? Zapped by a statue? I was just ... exiting the infirmary on the ship and found myself on the street instead of ... well outside of the infirmary."
