"Nice to meet you," he replied as he shook her hand. "That sounds ... fine," he agreed before he laughed quietly, wondering if the diners served burgers this early. But why not? They seemed to serve the entire menu all day, as far as he'd been able to tell.

"2518," he replied to her question. "Not from Earth," he added. He was pleased he'd managed to refrain from tacking on the 'that was' that usually accompanied Earth where he was from. "I was born on Osiris, but lately have been on a space ship. It's ... in an entirely different galaxy," he explained before she could ask where Osiris was. He had no real way to explain in relation to this Earth.
