Ginny had no intention of getting her hopes up, and while it rankled her slightly to let him buy her breakfast, she wasn't foolish enough to let her pride make this an issue. Besides, then she could give Lily her money back -- or at least try to.
"That's very generous of you, Mr. Draper. Thank you," Ginny replied, a slightly sly smile playing at her lips. "Take your time," she added, and honestly she didn't expect him back. Surely something in his phone call would distract him or take longer than he expected -- and she had jobs to hunt, anyway.
Still, it was interesting to meet him; he didn't seem at all the way Lily had made him out to be, and that was interesting to her. Very interesting. With a grin and a shake of her head, Ginny resumed her consultation of the menu and then she'd move on to consulting the news paper.
