Ginny would have withdrawn her hand save for the fact she all but froze when he dropped his name. It wasn't an unfamiliar name; Lily had mentioned him a time or two, and boy had she had some interesting tales to tell about this particular bloke.
The question was, did she admit that, or just let it lie if she could school her reaction quickly enough? It didn't matter, either way, though now she was a little curious to meet this man that Lily had mentioned.
"And to think the morning's just gotten started," Ginny replied, accepting his handshake when he did get around to offering it. "It's very nice to meet you as well." Her lips parted to continue, but anything that would have slipped out would have given away that she'd already heard of him.
"I can imagine, if this weather isn't common. I've heard it isn't, but as I've just arrived, I have little to compare it to."
