She was fairly certain their knuts had been worth more than a penny, and she rubbed lightly at her temple as she glared at the coins as if it were somehow their fault she was here and she couldn't understand them. "Thank you," she said after a moment before she turned her attention again to the menu. Lily had assured her she had enough to cover a meal, but Ginny was skeptical on that front. "This ... well, I wasn't prepared for a sudden trip to the States," she admitted, quite certain he didn't care but needing to say something all the same. "Our money's nothing like this," she added with a gesture to the coins. She'd learn it all eventually, she knew, and sort out the value of it as far as what could be purchased with it.
She flicked her eyes to the paper, and she knew she should start in on job hunting, but she had company. Company whose name she didn't know, because she hadn't bothered to introduce herself.
