She'd managed to stack the bills by number, but the coins were a loss. She knew they weren't as much as wizarding coins, but she was going to guess the metals ranked them similarly. The lack of gold coins struck her odd, though Lily had done her best to explain that, too.
With the issue of the money as settled as it was going to be, Ginny became aware of someone watching her. Her reflexes weren't as honed as they'd been at school, during the war; peace time had made her soft. Still, she was aware of it, and she looked around curiously before her attention settled on Don. Lily had mentioned the general way men behaved around here -- at least in her office -- so Ginny kept that in mind as she regarded him right back.
"So were you going to offer to help then or just watch me try to work it out on my own?" Not that it was fair of her to expect assistance or to expect him to know she was unfamiliar with the money and therefore having issues with it, but she was still a little off-balanced, and a little snappish because of it.
Rolling her eyes at herself, she shook her head. "Sorry. That's ... I've just arrived here and I'm in a bit of a mood." She wasn't aware how well known it was that people were randomly being thrown into this world, but she assumed it was common enough that she'd be fine admitting that's what she was.
