A voice caught Dean's attention, and he turned his head to see a redheaded girl not much older than him stepping out of his way, looking slightly concerned. It was then he realized that when you don't know where you're going or what you're running from, there's no need to get there in such a hurry. He made to stop, but slipped on the icy sidewalk and spun out into a snowbank.
Embarrassed, he tried to stand, rubbing his sore backside, but slipped on the ice again and landed back in the snow.
