Men indeed. Peggy let out a pfft as she set her notes down on the desk and sorted through the pages. It took her a moment to get them back in order. They were more crumpled than she would have liked, given her initial anger and frustration upon having them handed to her incorrectly.
"I don't know Selina that well, but I guess it's nice that Joan's been able to pass off some things." Because you'd have to be blind (or a man) to miss the fact that Joan was capable of more. Peggy knew she'd been helping with some television project, but it hadn't lasted. "I guess I don't know half the girls out there anymore. Not for lack of trying, but--"
Peggy shook her head before looking back over at Lily. "I'm sorry. I must be painting you a horrible picture of the people you have to work with every day, and God knows they don't need another reason not to like me. This is just the longest conversation I've had with another woman in this office for ages."
